After we completed the country stories, many men and women wanted to tell their own personal histories. These histories cross many of the places in the previous section. The following five chapters are life histories told by Warumungu men and women. Some of the histories are narrated by the individual, and some are collective efforts by family members. In each case, the life stories can be read in conversation with the preceding place stories.
