Holiday Camp
At Morphett Creek, there were big yams and nice water and crabs. We used to make yams in the fire like that old man used to do. We would leave BB station then, all us kids and Mum too, for holiday camps. The creek would run full then, with nice cool water. We left BB station for holidays. We would go on the bush track, off the bitumen. People was still frighten of papulanji, so we went bush way. Once the creek flooded and a big truck tipped over at Morphett Creek. Everyone grabbed what was there: big bags of oranges, sugar, tea, flour, tin meat, lollies for kids, we thought it must be Christmas. Everyone took it then, we had a good time.
