During the wet the creek is filled with water, then it goes dry again. Over past the mulga tree there used to be a women's dancing area. K. Nappanangka remembers that place for dancing. When all the women would come in for corroboree and kids too, little girl ones would be there, like her and her sister. Then other people would come too, Kaytetye, Warlpiri, Warlmanpa and Alyawarr people all those mobs came for dancing. This is a really strong place for Warumungu people, old people always lived here and told stories about this place. Lots of bush tucker here too, like bush potato behind the creek. And over on the west side there would be horse races. People from all the stations would come and watch the races, for holiday times, when families came from Phillip Creek, BB station, McLaren and all around.
