From Wharton to McClure's to Appleton to Macmillan: Journey of "Summer" from Manuscript to Print

Pedagogical Implications

[This section is still under construction. I could not complete this section due to time-constraint.]

This section will incorporate a discussion on the pedagogical implications of this project in the light of the theories, methods, and practices of textual studies. Initially, I was planning to discuss this project’s implications for literature, editing, and DH classrooms. However, my colleague, Matthew Kollmer, has suggested me to include a section on how this project can be used in creative writing classes.
Also, I am planning to include a transcription exercise in this section so that the readers can try their hand at transcribing manuscript. Such an exercise will also help the teachers if they want to engage their students in transcribing and collation process.
